Admin Assistant/Office Support

As an admin assistant for a home health agency, you will be responsible for clerical functions and maintaining patient electronic health records including order management. The position is fast-paced with significant documentation that requires someone who can handle reviewing and filing patient’ private documentation, assisting with scheduling of licensed staff as well as:

  • Coordinating incoming and outgoing communications in the office.
  • Receiving incoming calls and referring to the appropriate staff.
  • Coordinating the flow of documents to the physicians, following up and tracking the return of documents in the EHR.
  • Coordinating and recording all incoming and outgoing clinical documentation.
  • Entering and maintaining direct care team member data using the scheduling software
  • Adjusting schedules daily or as needed to meet unforeseen conditions
  • Communicating schedule information to clients, family members, or other care team members
  • Verifying the accuracy of weekly schedules and confirming caregiver visits occurred
